Jaws of life needed to free woman from vehicle

Rescue workers were called to the scene of an accident about 5 miles North of Antlers on HWY 271 where a vehicle flipped, pinning the driver inside.

UPDATE: More information has been released regarding the accident that occurred on Tuesday, July 28, about 4 miles north of Antlers.

According to reports, it appears the driver, Martha L. Cox (64 of Antlers) attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed. Her vehicle left the roadway, became airborne and rolled, coming to rest on its top.

Cox was taken by Eagle-Med to Plano with arm, leg and head injuries. She is listed in stable condition.
