Antlers Living History Museum

The Gifted & Talented students at Antlers Elementary recently participated in their 3rd Annual Living History Museum.  This year's event was themed "An Event in American History."
Forty-eight participating students chose the event they wanted to present and dressed as a character from that era.  They also researched, decorated and organized project boards to display as they gave presentations to their peers and to family at Parent's Night.
Some of the events include: Pearl Harbor Attack, Challenger Disaster, Doolittle Raid, Digital Revolution, Breaking the Color Barrier, Women's Suffrage, 9/11 Attack, Titanic, Women in Basketball, 1st NBA Game, OKC Bombing, JFK Assassination, Underground Railroad, Segregation, Prohibition, and many more.
